The setting is stunning and fab, it's not far from beautiful garden, a unique theological library and a royal castle with beautiful gardens and great views of the surrounding Galloway countryside. The staff in general is attentive and accommodating.

It's a good base for summer holidays with great Wi-Fi. the rooms are spotless and have individual features like a fireplace, central heating, and an iron. the location is lovely and wonderful, set in a unique theological library.

I really enjoyed every detail about my wonderful 2 nights stay here. the breakfast looked really tasty with a huge variety of options. 3. the setting was amazing, right by a royal castle with beautiful gardens and great views of the surrounding Galloway countryside, and Castle Douglas.
